So, I guess this is about me. So, here goes –

My name is Jeff Gonzales. I am a Notary in Texas. Everything that I write about is by me as a Notary, things I experience, cool stuff, frustrations with myself, the Notary world, other Notaries, Signers, etc.

I will tell you now that while I intend to post regularly, I probably will only post when I have something to say, even if it’s 3 sentences about a random thing or I may ramble or even pull out my soapbox and go off about something.

I have been a Notary since 2020 – coming up on 6 years. I know this means that in some circles, I don’t know squat, and in others, I am the old guy in the room. But I also have a different perspective sometimes. I come from a place where I spent a lot of time dealing with Rules and Regulations, governing bodies and laws and legislation and I believe all these things exist for a reason and should be followed – mostly. I may not always agree with them and trust me, you will probably notice that sometimes.

I will also sometimes offer advice. Take it or don’t free advice is always worth what you pay for it. I know what I know. I don’t know what I don’t know. I tend to live my life believing that 1/2 of everything I know is wrong, but I haven’t a clue as to which 1/2.
