I talked earlier about opportunities for work and sometimes, simply being in the right place at the right time.
I have been doing a number of Signings for a Signing Agency at the same Title Company location all week – for Escrow Officers from a different location. By my count, 4 already Monday through Wednesday. The receptionist mentioned being glad it was me coming in (I have also done several in the past) and shortly after, I got a call from one of their Escrow Officers, in thas same office, to conduct a Signing for them.
Woohoo! I call that lucky and right place / right time.
I think the lesson here is be nice, be friendly and engaging to the receptionist and anyone else who might be at the front desk (you never know when someone might be standing for a few minutes) and anyone else you might encounter and then, be good at what you do. Stand out and eventually, you will get noticed and maybe they will offer you some work.
It might take weeks, it might take months, it might take years, but keep at it
This is a great example of organic growth. I’ll take it and I bet you will too.
